Bear Yuba Land Trust addresses the future or water

Water, or the lack of it and quality of it, will be the next big issue we will all face. Water has always been a critical problem in the dry West. Water diva Dr. Wendy J. Pabich (www.waterdeva.com), author of Taking on Water, will talk about the scarcity of fresh water from 7 to 8:30 p.m., March 25 in the Madelyn Helling Library Community Room Hosted by the Bear Yuba Land Trust, Pabich will also discuss the health of water, and what you can do to preserve and conserve it. She is funny, insightful, and will not only present the problem but will offer us solutions. Also speaking, about the organic imperative, will be Lew Douglas, founder of Urth Organic (event sponsor). This is important information – don’t miss it!

For more information, contact Melony Vance, BYLT Treks coordinator, at 530-272-5994 x 200. There is a $10 suggested donation, but no one will be turned away.
