On Aug. 30, Knights from Grass Valley hosted their 17th Annual Father Phelan Golf Classic at the Lake Wildwood Golf Course. The event was a benefit for Mount St. Mary’s Academy and The LivingWell Medical Clinic. A total of 92 golfers participated and over $13,000 was raised.

A highlight of the event was “The Cannon,” where a golf ball was launched approximately 400 yards for most golfers “longest drive ever.” Matt Augustine of Launching Fore Charity provided the cannon for this fundraising special event.

Charles Antouri donated a set of Nike irons, which he received as a prize for getting a hole-in-one last year as a special raffle prize.
