Annual fall diaper appeal

In the month of October, the Nevada County Diaper Project makes an effort to collect enough funds and diapers to keep the shelves stocked through the upcoming holiday season.

We are presently distributing 4,000 diapers per month through six agencies throughout the county. The diaper project does not receive any government funding or grants and counts on community support to meet our needs.

Donations can be mailed to P. O. Box 912, Penn Valley, CA 95946, or packages of diapers can be dropped off at Pampered Earth, 124 S. Auburn St., or Interfaith Food Ministry, 551 Whiting St., in Grass Valley.

We also need help packaging diapers for distribution. This could be done in your home at your convenience and only requires a day or two per month. For information, contact Cathy at 530-432-1974.
