Annual event to unite people in recovery

The organization “Alive in Recovery” is hosting “We are One,” an annual event designed to bring people of faith who are in recovery together. The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 6 at Western Gateway Park at the pavillion in Penn Valley. Activities will include live music, flag dancing, presentations, drama, children’s activities and recovery-related booths. Guest speakers include Beverly MacGrady, founder of Alive in Recovery, Michael “T” Tomlinson of Jordan Crossing Ministries and others.
