“9th Sisters” clothing swap this weekend at Twin Cities

The Women of Twin Cities Church are hosting their semi-annual women’s clothing swap, “9th Sisters’ Closet” on Saturday, Oct. 5. The swap benefits Women of Worth (WOW), Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalition (DVSAC) and Community Recovery Resources (CoRR).

Organizers are looking for “gently used” women’s clothing, purses, shoes and jewelry. These can be dropped off between 3 and 7 p.m. on Friday, October 4 at Twin Cities Church, 11726 Rough & Ready Highway, Grass Valley.

Shopping hours on Saturday will be from 9 a.m. to noon on October 5. Community members are welcome to come shop for free items. Early arrival is suggested, as in the past there has been a line at the door at 9 a.m. Free childcare is available for shoppers. Clothing donations are not required for those who come to shop for free items. For more information, visit http://www.twincitieschurch.com or contact Melinda at 530-306-3970.
