18th Annual Nevada County Book Sale to Benefit United Way of Nevada County

Books are still being accepted for the 18th Annual Nevada County Book Sale to Benefit United Way of Nevada County. Donations of books (in good condition) are now being accepted Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Oct. 11 in the lobby of the Rood Center located at 950 Maidu Ave. in Nevada City. National Geographic/periodicals, textbooks, encyclopedias, recorded tapes/DVDs, Harlequin novels or 8-Track tapes/cassette tapes will not be accepted.

From Oct. 7 through Nov. 1, Nevada County will hold its 18th annual book sale. All proceeds go to United Way of Nevada County. Prices range from 50 cents to $4, and the sale is open to the public, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. There are a variety of books on hand, including children’s, cookbooks, fiction and nonfiction. This event is just one of many Nevada County is holding to benefit United Way of Nevada County.
