For only $10, people of all ages can help fight cancer, win prizes and receive a professional haircut at the same time this Sunday. Salon Amelya’s Milly Gross and stylists from Bang! Hair Saloon will be on hand to lend their support and cut hair for walk-ins at 429 South Auburn St., Grass Valley, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Itsuko Day’s Cancer Fund. Day, a longtime area resident, is battling cancer and she, along with her family, wants to raise awareness with the event.

To top off the event, Syndicate Tattoo will be raffling prizes throughout the event. Prizes include gift certificates, artwork and more.

For more information, contact John Day at 530-263-0377, Salon Amelya at 530-272-1482 or visit Facebook at “Cuts for a Cause … Benefit for Itsuko Day.”
