Nevada Union water polo dominates at Dixon

The Nevada Union boys water polo team was dominant at the Dixon water polo tournament Saturday in Woodland.

The Miners handily won all three of their contests by a combined score of 36-6.

Nevada Union beat Dixon 8-2, then thumped Concord 18-2 and topped West 10-2 Saturday.

The Miners will look to extend their Sierra Foothill League winning streak Tuesday when they face Granite Bay.

The Miners took games from El Camino, 11-7, and Casa Robles, 13-3, but fell to tourney host Dixon, 11-6.

The Miners return to SFL play Tuesday to take on Granite Bay.
