Nevada Union holds sophomore parent night

For parents who already are thinking about their tenth-grader’s choices beyond graduation, counselors from Nevada Union High School will try to have some answers.

From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, NU counselors and program coordinators will help parents explore different paths toward graduation, careers and getting into college. Speakers will include students, teachers from the Regional Occupational Program, the scholarship coordinator and a Sierra College counselor.

The informal meetings will be held at the Don Baggett Theater on campus at 11761 Ridge Road in Grass Valley. For more information, contact the counseling department at or 273-4431 ext. 367.
