Nevada County weather: Small chance of rain this weekend
Forecasters say a low pressure system moving through the area this weekend will drop temperatures and bring a slight chance of rain.
A red flag warning for parts of Northern California will last through Tuesday. Low humidity and strong winds bring significant fire weather conditions, the National Weather Service said.
Highs will linger in the high 80s through Friday, dropping to the mid-70s for the weekend.
A low pressure system is the reason for the temperature drop, as well as the chance for rain, said Tom Dang, meteorologist with the weather service.
“The forecast confidence is low,” Dang said of the rain. “It may miss you guys. It may not.”
