Nevada County AAUW picks seventh-graders for Tech Trek

The Nevada County branch of the American Association of University Women has selected three seventh-grade girls to attend Tech Trek, a summer camp focused on math, science and computer skills at Stanford University in July.

Students selected to attend the camp are Karrie Beeman, Magnolia Intermediate School; Rosie Bierwagen, Chicago Park School; and Tiffany Boze, Clear Creek School.

They were nominated by teachers and administrators at their schools for the honor. The girls completed competitive applications and noted the various activities in which they are currently involved.
