Nevada City Lions Club and local car club host car show

The Nevada City Lions Club and the Nevada County Mustangers Car Club are hosting a car show this Saturday from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Pioneer Park in Nevada City. This annual event expects to draw a large number of pre-1973 classic cars and car buffs to the park, where food and beverages of all kinds will be available for sale to the public.

There will be a raffle for a large number of prizes donated by local businesses and music will be provided by KAHI radio. Proceeds from the show will be split between the two hosting organizations, with the Lions using their funds to benefit Pioneer Park and the Mustangers using their share for their children’s Christmas gift program.

The entry fee to show a car is $20 in advance, $25 at the gate and admission to the event is free to the public. More information is available by calling Bob and Barbara Lamb (directors with the Lions Club) at 530-273-7945.
