Nadine Bauman

Nadine Bauman, 77, of Grass Valley died Saturday, Jan. 11, in Grass Valley.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services. Burial is at the New Elm Ridge Cemetery in Grass Valley.



Mrs. Bauman was born on Aug. 30, 1926, in Grass Valley to Frank William Lynne and Susie D. Riggs. She graduated from Grass Valley High School. She was a previous owner/operator of the Ballerina Cleaners in Grass Valley. She was a member of the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed gold mining, gardening and art collecting.

She is survived by her sons Steven R. Bauman of Mansfield, Texas, and Frank W. Bauman of Shingle Springs; daughters Tamara L. Arnold of Nevada City and Lisa A. Bauman of San Jose; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.




She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Bauman, in 1984.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Save a Pet Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
