Myrna Rebholtz

Services for Myrna Jolly Rebholtz of Nevada City will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Sierra Presbyterian Church in Nevada City.

Mrs. Rebholtz died Saturday, Oct. 19, at home. She was 89.



She was born Oct. 12, 1913, in Bakersfield to Harry and Laura Rusling. She graduated from Oakland High School and attended the University of California at Berkeley. She married Harold Rebholtz in May 1938 in Oakland.

She was an accountant in various Bay Area firms for 40 years. She was a member of the Nevada County Flower Arrangers, Happy Rug Hooker Group, Over-the-Hill Gang and the African Violet Society. She enjoyed rug hooking, reading, flower arranging, gardening and traveling.




She is survived by her daughters Roslyn Jiminez of Turlock and Dianne Bissell of Isleton; seven grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sierra Presbyterian Church or Hospice of the Foothills.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
