Music in the Mountains’ remaining concerts

Friday at 8 p.m.: “Concerto for Piano” features pianist Bryan Wallick, with conductor Paul Perry and the Festival Orchestra. Indoors.

Saturday at 7:30 p.m.: “Jazz in the Pines” with the Festival Orchestra and the New Black Eagle Jazz Band. Outdoors.

Sunday at 2 p.m.: “Bach, Beethoven & Grant” with guest soloists Linus Eukel, Stephanie Johnson, Leanne Brand and Gary Aldrich, the Music in the Mountains Festival Chorale and Orchestra. Includes the performance of Nevada County composer Jerry Grant’s “Rejoice.” Indoors.



Wednesday at 8 p.m.: “Sassy and Saxy” features soprano Kerry Walsh, Geordie Frazer on saxophone and the Festival Orchestra in Mozart’s “Symphony No. 29. Indoors.

July 2 at 8 p.m.: “Orchestra Stars” with the Festival Orchestra, Robin Mayforth on violin, Jane Lenoir on flute, Neil Tatman on oboe, Tom Rose on clarinet and Carla Wilson on bassoon. Includes a world premier of Nevada County composer Mark Vance’s “Concerto for Winds.” Indoors.




July 3 at 7:30 p.m.: “Happy Birthday, USA” patriotic celebration features the Festival Orchestra, Chorus and narration by Foothill Theatre Company’s Philip Charles Sneed. Outdoors.
