Morocco was saved; more dogs need your help

Recently we advertised for help in saving Morocco, a good dog scheduled to be euthanized on March 3.

The good news is that Morocco, now safe in a great foster home with two local angels, Jim and Vicky, has a bright future. And she will never be allowed to chase cats down again – that’s why the county shelter was going to euthanize her to begin with.

The bad news is that today with many of us struggling or out of work, our animals are suffering too. I don’t know what would happen to all the abandoned creatures without people like those who answered our ad. So if you are one of those who offered to help Morocco, I’m asking you to consider help one of the others, too.

If you have space in your heart and home for a dog, temporarily or forever, please call Scooter’s Pals.

If you can make a contribution, please do that as well. Scooter’s Pals provides food and vet care for all our fostered dogs, our coffers are running low, nothing is too little, and we need to help as many dogs as we can. We are completely volunteer and all funds go directly to the dogs.

Blessings and heartfelt thanks to The Union’s great, dog-loving staff and all of you for saving Morocco.
