Mixer truck recovery snarls traffic

A concrete mixer is pulled from the side of northbound Highway 49, just north of Oak Road, Tuesday evening with the help of three large tow trucks, including one with a rotating boom. Northbound traffic was impacted throughout the evening as the removal process took many hours. A vehicle reportedly pulled out in front of the mixer and a collision occurred with a Honda sedan before the mixer went over the embankment.
