Miners Clinic moving, target date June 1

The Miners Family Health Center is planning to move into a new facility in Grass Valley June 1.

According to Executive Director Scott McFarland, the facility best known as “The Miners Clinic” on Zion Street in Nevada City is too small to take care of the current patient load.

The health center which takes all patients, including those on MediCal and low income programs, will move to a medical building at 1345 Whispering Pines Lane in Grass Valley. The building is on the Gold Country Stage bus route, McFarland said.
