Miles Nestell

Visitation for Miles V. Nestell will be held today at Chapel of the Angels Mortuary from noon to 8 p.m. A graveside service will follow Saturday at the Red Men cemetery in Grass Valley at 11:30 a.m.

Mr. Nestell of Grass Valley died Feb. 14 at a local hospital. He was 19.

Mr. Nestell was born on August 24, 1983 in Grass Valley to Ryland and Vicki Nestell. He graduated in 2002 from Nevada Union High School and had been taking college pre-med courses.



He was a sales representative for J.C. Penney and a stocker at Kroger’s Grocery Store. He enjoyed basketball, computers and electronics.

He is survived by his mother, Jane Martin; a brother, Trevor Nestell; a sister, Ashley Martin; grandmothers Ellen Nestell and Jerretta Martin; a grandfather, Jim Martin; and uncles Pete Marquardt, James Martin, Joe Martin and Clint Nestell; aunts Kati Nestell, Susan Marquardt, Renee Keseloff, and Lynn Guin; his best friend Billy Fritz and many, many friends and relatives.




He was preceded in death by his father, Lance; three great-grandmothers, two uncles, a grandfather and two great-uncles.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
