Mildred Landon

Graveside services for Mildred Elizabeth Landon of Grass Valley will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Anderson Cemetery, 2500 Cemetery Lane in Anderson.

Mrs. Landon died Friday, March 10, at Spring Hill Manor. She was 95.

She was born Oct. 22, 1910, in Conway Springs, Kan., to Samuel Edgar Howard and Clair Riggs Ratliff. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1928. She married Francis A. Landon on Oct. 11, 1930, in Redding. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed painting, ceramics, china painting, gardening and family history.



She is survived by her sons Thomas Landon of Lake Almanor, Michael Landon of Mt. Shasta, and Daniel Landon of Grass Valley; daughter, Patricia Menning of Port Angeles, Wash.; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 14-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis A. Landon in 1989; and granddaughter, Laura Landon in 1996.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
