Mildred Crowe

Graveside services for Mildred C. Crowe of Grass Valley will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Lawncrest Memorial Park in Redding. The Rev. Dennis Benfield of Happy Valley Baptist Church will officiate.

Mrs. Crowe died Sunday, March 10, at Meadow View Manor in Grass Valley. She was 84.



She was born May 28, 1917, in Cle Elum, Wash. She moved to Placerville in 1945 and then to Grass Valley in 1998. She was a homemaker.




Mrs. Crowe is survived by her daughter, Margaret Edson of Lake Wildwood; brother, Peter Carrollo of Redlands; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Research, 2222 Watt Ave., Sacramento 95825.

Arrangements are under the direction of the McDonald’s Chapel in Redding.
