Memorial services for Michael Galbraith of Grass Valley will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Nevada City chapel of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.

Mr. Galbraith died Friday, Feb. 14, in Grass Valley. He was 47.

He was born on Nov. 8, 1955, in Monterey, to Gene and Pearl Galbraith. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1975 to 1977. He worked in sales and marketing for Inter County Title Company in Grass Valley. He was an avid cyclist. He enjoyed art work, especially sketchings with pen and ink, and he collected antiques.

He is survived by his mother, Pearl Galbraith of Grass Valley; father, Gene B. Galbraith of Grass Valley; brother, Gary Galbraith of Grass Valley; sister, Denise Heggestad of Grass Valley; fiance, Valerie Santillanes of Penn Valley; and nephew, Michael Prado of Long Beach.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
