Michael Fisher

Michael Jack Fisher died May 27 in Red Bluff. He was 57.

Mr. Fisher was born August 21, 1950, in Bakersfield. His best memories were of growing up in Grass Valley. He enjoyed fishing, fiddling with his motorcycle and playing baseball. Those interests followed him throughout life.

Mr. Fisher was a veteran of our country, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. After the service he then began raising his family, who will miss him greatly. During the past 10 years he traveled and lived along the Oregon coast and the mountains of Montana with his wife, Josie LaPercle-Fisher, who loved him dearly, as did his grandchildren. He is also survived by his parents, Jack and Darlene Fisher of Grass Valley.

Private arrangements are under the direction of The Hall Brothers Corning Mortuary in Corning.
