Michael Bryant Sr.

Memorial services for Michael Martin Bryant Sr. of Grass Valley will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Auburn Grace Community Church, 4035 Grass Valley Highway in Auburn.

Mr. Bryant died Friday, July 23, at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. He was 50.

He was born Oct. 31, 1953, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Louis Bryant Sr. and Thelma (Kelley) Bryant. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He married Katherine on Aug. 6, 1996, in Roseville. He was a masonry contractor. He enjoyed being an Elvis impersonator.



He is survived by his mother, Thelma Bryant of Citrus Heights; wife, Katherine Bryant of Grass Valley; daughter, Jennifer Bryant of Corina; sons Mike Bryant Jr. of Rocklin, David Bryant of Roseville, and Raymond Bryant of Citrus Heights; brothers Don, Charles and James-Michael Bryant; grandchildren Landon Moreno, and Hope Rodli; and step-children, Jason Rodli, Kristin Yates, and Vanessa Rodli.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
