Graveside services for Maureen Rose (Asbury) Lane of Lake Wildwood will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura.

Mrs. Lane died Saturday, Jan. 4, at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley. She was 68.

She was born on Aug. 16, 1934, in Union Star, Mo., to Ray Asbury and Opal Fern Davis. She graduated from Ventura High School in 1952. She married Richard A. Lane on July 11, 1953, in Yuma, Ariz. She was a retired administrative assistant at the Alexian Brothers Hospital in San Jose and the Redlands Community Hospital. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, shopping and group canasta.

She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Lane of Lake Wildwood; son and daughter-in-law, Mark A. and Diane Lane of Redlands; grandson, Ryan A. Lane of Redlands; sisters Peggy Jane Guinn of Sisters, Ore., and Bettyann Deiters of Aurora, Colo.; sisters-in-law Nancy Jane Rutherford of Ventura and Maxine Gould of Ojai.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dr. Willard E. Asbury of Forest Grove, Ore.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
