Mary Steward

Visitation for family and friends of Mary Elizabeth Steward of Grass Valley will be from noon to 1 p.m Tuesday at the Finefrock-Williams Funeral Home in Mansfield, Ohio. Services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at the Mansfield Memorial Park in Mansfield.

Mrs. Steward died Sunday, Jan. 25, in Grass Valley. She was 85.

She was born July 14, 1918, in Richland County, Ohio, to Samuel and Donna (Cress) Craig. She graduated from Madison High School in Mansfield, Ohio. She married Robert Steward in 1964, in Mansfield. She was a member of the Girl Scouts of America, American Legion Auxiliary, Order of Easter Star No. 640-California, and the Loyal Order of Moose Auxiliary.



She is survived by her son, Wayne Pinnenger of Penn Valley; daughter, Donna Filson of Queensland, Australia; stepson, Eugene Steward of Perrysville, Ohio; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Steward, in 1982.
