Nov. 24, 25 and 26, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Artisans Festival of fine art and fine crafts will take place at Miners Foundry Cultural Center in Nevada City. Admission is $3 for adults and free for children 16 and under.

Nov. 30, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Neighborhood Center of the Arts will host its second annual “For the Birds” fundraising event at the Nevada City Winery in Nevada City. Fifty-two birdhouses decorated by artists from the community and NCA and local celebrities will be on display for silent auction bidding throughout November at the winery, which is located at 321 Spring St.


Dec. 8, 9 and 10 is Music in the Mountains’ popular holiday concert at the Amaral Family Festival Center at the Nevada County Fairgrounds on McCourtney Road in Grass Valley. The first two days are evening performances at 7:30; the third day is a 2 p.m. matinee. Tickets up to $27 are available at the MIM Box Office.

Dec. 12 and 14 at 7 p.m. the Nevada Union High School Choir winter concerts take place at Don Baggett Theatre at the school, 11761 Ridge Road, Grass Valley. Reserved seating is $10 for adults; $8 for students and seniors. Tickets will be presold on several days at the theater ticket booth: Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to noon; Dec. 11 from 5-6:30 p.m. and Dec. 13 from 5-6:30 p.m.
