Marjorie Baubel

Marjorie W. Baubel, 92, of Grass Valley died Wednesday, Feb. 15, in Grass Valley.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be conducted.

Mrs. Baubel was born Sept. 19, 1913, in London, England, to James Jones and Jessica Cousins. She graduated form Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley. She married Ferdinand C. Baubel in June 1941, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She worked in the Marin Shipyards and for Stauffer Chemical Company and San Anselmo Public Library. She was a founder of Jolly Roger Chapter (Marin County) Children’s Home Society, Marin County Music Study Group. She enjoyed classical music, reading and gardening.



She is survived by her sons James Baubel of Grass Valley, and Christopher Baubel of Petaluma; sister, Phyllis Wagstaff of Carmel; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand Baubel on Feb. 5, 2006.
