Margaret Wells

Margaret Wells, 88, of Grass Valley died Thursday, Oct. 26, in Grass Valley.

Services will be conducted at a later date at the Calumet Park Cemetery, 2305 West 73 Ave. in Merrillville, Ind.

Mrs. Wells was born on March 17, 1918, in Pennsylvania, to Merideth and Edith Roberts. She graduated from high school in Hammond, Ind. She married Charles F. Wells in June 1937, in Hammond, Ind. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting.



She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Raymond and Joyce Wells of Grass Valley, and David and Paula Wells of Crown Point, Ind.; sister, Marion Shoemaker of Cedar Lake, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Wells in 1988; son, Charles K. Wells in 1980; granddaughter, Julie Wells in 1991; and parents Merideth and Edith Roberts.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
