Margaret Silvester

Margaret Ida Silvester died Oct. 23, 2007, in Grass Valley. She was 67.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, at First Baptist Church of Grass Valley.

Mrs. Silvester was born Oct. 21, 1940, to William Case and Maudie Watson in Hollywood. She graduated from Hollywood High School. She married Lewis Silvester on Nov. 7, 1959.



Mrs. Silvester was a homemaker and a member of S.O.S., or Serving Our Savior, a group dedicated to serving churches and camps throughout the country. She enjoyed crafts, reading, piano and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis Silvester of Nevada City; son, Paul Silvester of Morrison, Colo.; son, David Silvester of Goodyear, Ariz.; sister, Ruth Rutherford of Nevada City; sister Esther Belland, of Van Nuys; and five grandchildren.




Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Foothills in Grass Valley.
