Mae Willitts

Mae Eleanor Willitts, 98, of Grass Valley died Sunday, Sept. 12, at Spring Hill Manor Convalescent Hospital.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services.

Mrs. Willitts was born Aug. 4, 1906, in Salinas to Knud and Marie (Neilsen) Rohde. She married W. Harvey Willitts.



She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Richard E. and Helen N. Rohde of Grass Valley; nieces Edith C. Rohde of Seattle, Wash., Janice M. Bilberry of Grass Valley, A. Chris Start of North Bloomfield, and Donna M. Charlop of Boulder Creek. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Harvey Willitts, on Nov. 25, 1981; and sisters Mildred “Billie” Fisher and Isobel M. Waterman.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, 12399 Nevada City Highway, Grass Valley 95945.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
