M3 Mall honors their ‘Mother of the Year’

M3 Mall’s “Mother of the Year,” Shanna Hennefer, was recently announced at the organization’s Spring Pageant. Nominees, which were accepted through Facebook, email and regular mail, were chosen by more than 10,000 Nevada County residents. A total of 36 women were nominated. Kathy Cash Waldrum, 2018’s winner, awarded the 2019’s winners. Nominees from left, are Eva Nau, Shanna Hennefer (2019’s winner), Heather Schooley, Sharee Daley and Sarah Aguilar. “Moms have the most important and least recognized job world-wide,” said Mistler. “If we can start a movement where we can recognize eachother and build each other up, why not start with me, why not start in Nevada County?
