Lynn Semak

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hooper and Weaver Mortuary in Nevada City for Lynn Ann Semak.

Mrs. Semak, of Nevada City, died Jan. 18. She was 61.



She was born in Davenport, Iowa on Aug. 8, 1941, to Walter “Pete” and Mary Beckman. She was a homemaker most of her adult life, a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and reading.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Beckman, of Grass Valley; husband Lenny Jones of Nevada City; brother Butch Beckman of Camarillo; daughter Marlyn Daggett of San Francisco; son Steve Semak of Nevada City; and granddaughters Kayla and Ashley Morris of Frazier Park.




She was preceded in death by her father, Walter “Pete” Beckman; first husband Marvin Semak; and nephew Chase Beckman.

Burial is at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Nevada City.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills.
