Lydia Nobs

Services for Lydia Partington Nobs of Las Vegas, Nev., will be conducted in Las Vegas.

Mrs. Nobs died Thursday, June 17. She was 90.

She was born Dec. 24, 1913, in Silverton, Colo., to George “Scotty” and Madge Carroll Partington. She moved with her family to Grass Valley as a child and attended local schools. She graduated from Grass Valley High School in 1931 and received her nursing degree from a nursing school in San Jose. She married Ken Nobs. She worked as a surgical nurse and RN wherever her husband’s work took them.



She is survived by her daughters Stevi Carroll of Las Vegas and Benita Gotterman of Denver, Colo.; brothers Justin and Robert Partington both of Grass Valley; and sister, Eileen Earhart of Sunnyvale.
