Lucille Poulter

Services for Lucille Mae Poulter of Modesto will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Evins Funeral Home. Private burial will be conducted.

Mrs. Poulter died Thursday, Feb. 23, at Colony Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Modesto. She was 76.

She was born on Dec. 7, 1929, in Seal Beach, to Richard and Lilian Forkner. She lived in Modesto for 10 years. She worked for 20 years at the Crystal Bay Club in Lake Tahoe as a Keno writer. She enjoyed gardening, swimming and walking.



She is survived by her husband, Roy Auther Poulter of Modesto; son Jackie Dwight of Truckee; daughters Laura Peter of North San Juan, Susie Carman of Grass Valley, Ronna Boyarsky of Ceres, and Carla Aho of Montpelier, Idaho; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Lilian Forkner; brothers Robert Forkner, Walter Wells; and sister, Eunice Meadows.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Evins Funeral Home & Crematorium.
