Lucille Moranville obituary

Lucille L. Moranville, 90, of Grass Valley died Sunday, May 7, in Grass Valley.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be at the Penn Valley District Cemetery.

Mrs. Moranville was born Oct. 10, 1915, in Lebunon, Kan., to William and Kathryn (Krolick) Beardslee. She married Guinn Moranville on Aug. 27, 1932, in Kansas. She was a dental assistant in Sunnyvale and Grass Valley. She enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Carl Plaza of Nevada City; son, Bill Moranville of Grass Valley; sister, Mary Lou McKracken of Nebraska; brothers Robert and Charles Beardslee both of Nebraska; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guinn Moranville; and her parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Northern California, P.O. Box 1824, Sacramento 95812.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
