Louise Pleski

Memorial services for Louise Bernice Pleski of Penn Valley will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sierra Presbyterian Church, 175 Ridge Road in Nevada City.

Mrs. Pleski died Friday, Jan. 7, at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. She was 80.

She was born Oct. 31, 1924, in Superior, Wis., to Charles and Ruth Roth. She was a high school graduate. She married Robert Pleski on Jan. 17, 1944, in Two Harbors, Minn.



She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Nevada City and Cupertino, Rolling Ambassadors R.V. Club, and the Stitch and Bitch Women’s Group. She enjoyed reading, bridge and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Pleski of Penn Valley; daughters Susan Yeager of San Jose, and Diane Reese of San Jose; son, R. Scot Pleski of Capitola; grandchildren Eric Yeager, Jennifer Reese, Katelyn Reese, Katie Pleski, Alex Pleski and Rachelle Pleski; and five great-grandchildren.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
