Louis Warren

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services for Louis Paul Warren of Grass Valley, who died Saturday, Nov. 16. He was 69.

Mr. Warren was born Oct. 30, 1933, in Meadeville, Penn., to Lewis and Ella Warren. He married Barbara Boeson in July 1955.

Mr. Warren was in the Navy for 9 1/2 years, then worked for Robinson Timber, Nevada City Bottling Works, Empire Distributing, Pappy’s Taxi and as a bartender at several local establishments. He was an avid sports fan and loved to fish, bowl and play pool.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Warren of Grass Valley; children, Sharon Williams and Ronday of Sacramento, Terry Warren of Grass Valley, Bobbie Warren of Nevada City, Ronald and Betty Warren of Eugene, Ore., and Shirley Jackson of Portland, Ore.; brother, Lynn Warren of Vancouver, Wash.; nine grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; four great-grandchildren and two great step-grandchildren.

The family prefers memorial contributions to Hospice of the Foothills or the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
