Lost trail

I am a resident of Cedar Ridge, where we have some beautiful country to explore. We have walking and riding trails that go through Empire Mine and Union Hill. As the area is being developed, the trails are being blocked off and the properties are being subdivided.

The particular trail that I am addressing is located at the end of Brunswick Drive. This trail connects to the Union Hill trail of Empire Mine State Park. As long-time residents have informed me, this trail has been used for at least 50 years; that’s how people used to get to town. The owner of the property that the trail in question goes through has decided to fence the trail off. Right up to the time that the trail was blocked off, it was being used for walking and cycling, for exercise and transportation.

We need help to save this trail. As I understand it, this is a right-of-way and it cannot be legally blocked. If we let the trail go, it will be just another peaceful spot lost.
