Local writer’s local history book sold

Grass Valley author Brad Prowse’s latest book on Nevada County history is in local bookstores.

“Hard-Rock, High-Grading and Harlots” is a collection of articles about local historical from the Gold Rush to relatively recent times.

The stories are about old mines, “duels and dastardly deeds,” according to the author.

The book is also available on Amazon.com.
