Would be nice if deli opened in Grass Valley

The letter written to put another local family out of a job was sickening. There are 19 Beach Huts in the world, people. We’re not talking about a place most of us have ever even heard of. And the last time I checked surfing and beaches were big parts of California. I think we can all agree that the beaches are closer to us then Mexico or Japan.

It seems to be getting harder and harder for our store fronts to stay occupied in these hard times. Do we really need to tell people, especially local people, they can’t open a business? I wonder how many of these people signing this protest are even from here (Bay Area? SoCal?).

I wish this deli would open in Grass Valley. I, for one, could use yet another excuse not to spend a dime of my hard earned local money in Nevada City, which I thought was still in America.
