Window photo display shows Nevada City then and now

Visitors can peer through the windows of Nevada City history this October.

Mural-sized photos of Nevada City taken between 1850 and 1920 will be on display at 47 downtown stores during the month.

The photos are placed at the locations they were originally taken, giving viewers a “then and now” perspective.

The display is sponsored by the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce.
