What do you believe? Faith Formation class starts Sunday

A Faith Formation class will be hosted for six consecutive weeks starting Sunday for all who want to discover what Lutheran Christians believe and why.

Along the way, participants will explore their own beliefs and celebrate God’s gift of baptism in several ways. The faith practices experienced will attend to the whole person – body, mind and spirit. These classes are intended to transform one’s life and faith by becoming one with Christ and his church.

Most classes will be made up of a mix of seekers who want to know more about the Christian faith, new Christians, longtime Christians of other denominations, and longtime Lutherans wanting to renew their understanding and faith.

Each class will meet from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sundays through Nov. 10 in the Fellowship Center of Peace Lutheran Church, 828 W. Main St., Grass Valley (near downtown). A light lunch will be provided, and all sessions are free of charge.

For more information, contact the Rev. David Mullen, 530-273-9631.
