Wesley Clark will stump for congressional hopeful

Retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark will accompany Democratic congressional candidate Charlie Brown Thursday when he distributes $30,000 in campaign contributions to charity. Based on the online votes of 2,000 people,

Brown will give the money to Rebuild Hope, the Greater Oroville Homeless Coalition and Cottage Housing. It’s the second round of donations for Brown, who vowed to give 5 percent of funds raised to groups helping veterans.

The event will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Veterans Park North in Roseville.
