‘Welcome’ to deli owners

Didn’t Nevada City hire a consultant to go over the finer points of “growth” vs. “no growth” that has been such a big issue in both the Nevada City and Grass Valley communities?

I believe the consensus of opinion was that Nevada City needed to attract new business in order to stay economically viable in this time of downturn.

It seems we have a new business opening in one of those darling new buildings on Union Street.

I say more power to them! It takes a bunch of courage to open a new business during a time of economic insecurity.

So, welcome to the new people (though local).

And there is always this to think about: If a town doesn’t grow, it dies.
