Watch the roads for work crews

Road work is scheduled in the coming week in western Nevada County.

Starting Tuesday, Sierra College Drive in Grass Valley will see heavy truck traffic for construction of the college Public Safety Training Center. Trucks will be on the road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Sept. 15.

Also Tuesday, Nevada County’s road overlay project will continue on Indian Springs Road from McCourtney to east of Smith Lane from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.



On Wednesday, county road work will continue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wolf Creek Road from Dog Bar to Ocelot, and on Tiger Tail Road from Wolf Creek Road to Ocelot.

Delays could take from 20 to 30 minutes.
