Vote for Curtis or Emery

Voters beware! Mr. McClintock pretends to represent his constituents in Washington. As an old fashioned politician Mr. McClintock is obligated to represent primarily the special interests who finance his reelection. He blames Obama for the recession, the high unemployment, the budget deficit, the bank bailouts, etc.

In reality, the recession started in 2007 and gradually increased, along with unemployment in 2008 and 2009. The high unemployment is mostly created by the manufacturers who have their brand name products manufactured abroad (mostly China). Our yearly deficit with China is in the $250 million range. The bank bailouts took place in 2008 under the Bush Junior administration, and to top it all, Mr. McClintock has the audacity to tell us that the U.S. health care system is the best in the world.

Reality: 36 industrialized nations have a much better system at a lower cost. Stop spending, he says! Then why vote for 59 billion additional expenditure to the scandalous military budget of $1,039,531,000,000 or $1,980,000 per minute.

Meanwhile transportation, education, health and human services, and energy are under funded (and this is where Republicans want to cut spending).

Obviously, Mr. Clint Curtis or Mr. Ben Emery would be much better representatives.
