A vegetation fire broke out on two acres of property off of West Berryhill Drive and East Main Street around 4:22 p.m. today.

Calfire, Grass Valley Fire Department, Nevada City Fire Department and Nevada County Consolidated Fire District were on the scene, a Califire dispatcher at the Emergency Command Center in Grass Valley said.

“The fire has not been contained,” the dispatcher said around 5 p.m., while bombers swept over Grass Valley responding to the fire.
