A one-vehicle wreck that overturned a car Friday afternoon on Highway 49, between Dorsey Drive and Brunswick Road, caused no serious injuries, officials said.

Al Feser said he was driving a red Chrysler Sebring Touring toward Nevada City about 12:40 p.m. when another vehicle cut him off.

“I swerved twice,” Feser added. “Next thing I know, I was over.”

According to CHP Officer Brant Hardin, Feser collided with a guardrail on the right side of the highway, hit the embankment and a sign. His vehicle flipped before coming to a stop.

The wreck slowed traffic, through all lanes remained open.
