Upcoming events at the Madelyn Helling Library

​On Oct. 23, the library will be hosting Harry Potter Halloween from 4-6 p.m. at the Madelyn Helling Library.

This event will include trivia, activities, crafts and snacks.

Dress up is encouraged at this event and it is open to wizards and muggles of all ages.

On Wednesday, the library will be hosting “Paws to Read,” where children can build their literacy skills while reading to a certified therapy dog from 3-4 p.m.

All ages and reading proficiencies welcome.

Three free technology classes are planned for the week of Oct. 19 in the Collaborative Technology Center.

Monday, Kids Can: Tech! will be held from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Fun with Keynote for the iPad will be held from 3-4:30 p.m.

Thursday, Textile Pattern Design: From Crayons or Computer to Printed Yardage will be held from 3-4:30 p.m.
